China Building Blocks Association
The China Building Block Association (CBBA) was created in 1990 to promote and increase the use of building blocks in China. With the rapid advancement of technology in the construction industry in China, the importance of building blocks is increasing and the CBBA has been dedicated to providing educators and contractors with the necessary resources to work with this versatile medium.
The CBBA is an open, non-profit professional organization that is dedicated to promoting the research, development, and application of masonry construction in China. The association currently has more than 4,000 members who are contractors, designers, educators, manufacturers, and related professionals involved in the construction industry, with a strong focus on the use of building blocks as the primary material of construction.
The CBBA is active in both the public and private sector, providing education and consultation services to educators, builders, contractors, and engineers in the field. The association has established and organized various events, lectures, trips, and conferences to provide industry members with resources and knowledge. It also organizes various forums, case studies, and activities geared towards industry development.
The CBBA strives to promote the exchange of information and knowledge in Masonry Construction and has set up the Masonry Education Network, a system of colleges, universities, and research institutions to foster cooperation between them and provide information on building block technology and trends.
The association assists in the preparation of various standards, regulations, and measures for the monitoring of masonry construction activities. It also publishes an annual publication, “Masonry Construction”, to review the development of the industry. In addition, the CBBA provides grants and sponsorships to promote research and the use of building blocks.
The CBBA works with government departments, professionals, research and education institutions, and the industry to promote the safe, effective, and efficient use of building blocks in construction. Through its efforts, the CBBA hopes to raise the level of masonry construction in China and help shape the industry to create a better future for everyone involved.
