Export goods packaging material taboo
Goods packaging material is important for export goods. The quality of the raw materials used in packaging affects the carrying performance, handling and transportation process, preservation period, environmental safety and economic efficiency of the goods. Therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate packaging material and packed properly. There are some material taboos in packaging process.
The first taboo is the raw materials with low flexure strength. Usually, goods can be hooked by crane, so the goods need to be packaged with materials with enough flexure strength. If the raw materials do not have enough flexure strength, it may cause damage to goods when lifting. Furthermore, thanks to gravity, goods bear something great force when it is placed, so materials with low flexure strength are not suitable.
The second taboo is materials with low strength for tear. In the event of transportation, the goods may run into unexpected collision, so it is important that the packaging materials should have enough strength for tear. Otherwise, friction or collision may easily cause damage during transportation process.
The third taboo is corrosive materials. It is better to select non-corrosive packaging materials. If a package contains organic compounds or corrosive liquid, benzene and a variety of refrigerants containing halogen, or cross-linked or halogenic Plastics, the corrosion reaction is likely to occur upon collision, endangering safety of the goods.
The fourth taboo is combustible materials. Do not use combustible materials for packaging because benign raw materials should be used for the purpose of safety. Otherwise, it would put in danger the safety of the goods.
Firth taboo is materials with poor moisture proofiness. The absorption of air moisture is not desirable in the storage process. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the package raw materials with excellent moisture-proof performance. The best materials can prevent the goods in the package from being damaged or polluted by moisture or water vapor.
The sixth taboos is fragile materials. Fragile materials may penetrate or damage the goods when the goods are rotated by pullover or collision. Therefore, we need to check whether it any fragile material attached to the goods prior to packing.
In short, when choose packaging materials, it is necessary to pay attention to avoid the six taboos to make sure that the goods can be transported safely and smoothly.
