Heat exchanger with non alloy steel and ferritic alloy steel seamless steel pipe dimension and delivery technical condition (NF A49- 215-1981)

Heat exchanger, also known as heat transfer equipment, is widely used in steel production and other industrial production. Heat exchanger is the most widely and most general type of heat transfer equipment. It is the device which transfers the heat from one medium to another or from one side of a medium to another side. Heat exchanger can be divided into three categories. Firstly, a heat exchanger that exclusively transfers heat from hot fluid to cold fluid. Secondly, a heat exchanger that can recycle the heat from one heat medium to another. Last, a heat exchanger that can recycle the heat from one heat medium to another, and also transfer the remaining heat to a third medium.

The heat exchanger used in steel production and other industrial production is usually comprised of non alloy steel and ferritic alloy steel seamless steel pipes. Non alloy steel is a type of steel alloy which is composed entirely of iron. It has a high tensile strength and is often used in structures which require strong foundations. Ferritic alloy steels are heat-treatable steels with a ferrite base and typically contain at its nominal dose of 6.14 percent chromium and up to .15 percent molybdenum. Ferritic alloy steels are highly resistant to corrosion, resulting in them being the metal of choice for a number of industries.

The dimension and delivery technical condition of heat exchanger with non alloy steel and ferritic alloy steel seamless steel pipes are specified in National French Standard NF A49- 215-1981. According to the standard, the external diameter of the pipes ranges from 1/2 inch to 4 inches. The wall thickness ranges from 4.77 mm to 14.2 mm and the standard length of the pipes are 6,000 millimetres. The external diameter tolerance of the pipes is +/- 0.4 mm and the wall thickness tolerance is +/- 10%. In terms of delivery technical condition, the pipes must be free from any visible defects and should be delivered with a protective coat of paint.

Heat exchanger with non alloy steel and ferritic alloy steel seamless steel pipe dimension and delivery technical condition specified in NF A49- 215-1981 play a vital role in the production of steel and other industrial production processes. The pipes are of the highest quality and are designed to last for many years in their respective applications.
