The vertical cooler is composed of a casing and a heat exchange tube bundle. The heat exchange tube bundle is mainly composed of an inner cylinder and a plurality of heat exchange tubes, which are arranged in an annular ring at equal intervals. The inner cylinder has an intake manifold at the bottom and an exhaust manifold at the top. The heat exchange tubes are arranged between the two manifolds and the heat exchange gas flows through the inner cylinder, while the cooling medium flows between the inner cylinder and the outer wall of the casing.

When the cooling medium flows through the heat exchange tubes, the heat exchange is performed. The thermal energy of the heat exchange gas is absorbed by the cooling medium, and the cooled heat exchange gas is ejected from the exhaust manifold. The temperature of the cooling medium after cooling continues to rise due to the continued absorption of heat from the heat exchange tube. After the cooling medium flows from the outlet of the casing to the inlet, the temperature dropping process is repeated until the heat exchange gas temperature reaches the required value.

竖式冷却器具有结构简单,安装占地面积小,维护简单,使用寿命长等优点,因此被广泛应用于制冷和空调行业、化工行业、轻工业、医药卫生行业、食品行业等工程领域。
