The Standard of Quality Acceptance of Steel Structure Construction GB50205-2001
This standard is established to regulate the quality acceptance of steel structure construction, whose products are engineering structures and equipment. This standard is divided into general rules, product acceptance criteria, inspection methods, and upon completion handover, and transportation, storage, installation and commissioning instructions.
The general rules: It regulates the scope of application and of the standard, various parties of the responsibility, the contents and requirements of accepted products, the acceptance procedure and inspection method, and shipping, storage, and installation requirements.
Product acceptance criteria: They include product design requirements and drawings, welding process requirements, site welding quality requirements, surface finish requirements, technical requirements, etc.
Inspection methods: It explains the type of inspection and verification methods of the acceptance criteria, such as visual inspection, size measurement, angle measurement, welding appearance inspection, welding hardness inspection, non-destructive testing, and surface coating test.
Upon completion handover: It requires that the production units are responsible for the necessary acceptance tests and compilation of record sheet, and the use of units to check the necessary product components.
Transportation, storage, installation and commissioning: This part involves the requirements of safety, quality and management of the entire transportation, storage, installation and commissioning process. It divides into pre-transportation preparations, transportation, storage, installation and commissioning process, etc.
