Following the large-sized digits are multiple small digits, which represent the color, interior, transmission type, and other equipment details.
The last part of the system is the suffix, which is a letter that denotes the country in which the car was assembled. For example, an X suffix indicates a car assembled in Germany, while an S suffix indicates a vehicle manufactured in Sweden.
DIN 17007 is a useful international standard that can be used by organizations, manufacturers, suppliers, and consumers to quickly identify products.
