In order to ensure the quality assurance of austenitic stainless steel welded pipe with large diameter used for petrochemical equipment, the Peoples Republic of China issued HG 20537.4-92 Technical Requirements for Austenitic Stainless Steel Welded Pipe with Large Diameter Used for Petrochemical Equipment. This standard is applicable to austenitic stainless steel welded pipes with large diameter below DN500 (Φ500mm) for general equipment and DN600 (Φ600mm) for pressure piping used in petrochemical equipment. It is divided into 13 chapters and one appendix.
