Physical Characteristics: AISI 1202 has a density of 8.0 g/cm3 and a melting point of 1398°C (2560°F). Its electrical resistivity is 0.715 μohm-in.

Mechanical Characteristics: The mechanical properties of AISI 1202 are good. It has a yield strength of 85 ksi (585 MPa) and a tensile strength of 85–95 ksi (585–655 MPa). The hardness of this steel is also impressive. It has a Brinell hardness of 150 HB (15 kgf/mm2).
