In terms of chemical composition, C: 0.34-0.39, Si: 1.30-1.70, Mn: 1.50-2.00, Mo: 0.25-0.40, V: 0.20-0.30.

37SiMn2MoV alloy structural steel is widely used for special parts with high requirements for strength, fatigue strength, and wear resistance. It is mainly used to manufacture large and medium-sized gears, bearing rings, camshafts, levers and other parts, as well as sleeve shafts, connecting rod heads and sliders.

The heat treatment of 37SiMn2MoV alloy structural steel is critical to obtain the required mechanical properties. The general heat treatment process is normalizing + quenching + tempering. The forging temperature of 37SiMn2MoV alloy structural steel is 1160-1180℃. The forging temperature has a great influence on the microstructure and mechanical properties of forgings. If the forging temperature is low, the microstructure will be uneven and the properties will be low. If the temperature is too high, the segregation will be serious and the tempering stability will be poor. In order to achieve satisfactory properties, it is necessary to strictly control the temperature during forging.
