2. Valve leakage in low-pressure section
Reason: The gasket of the joint between the valve body and the bonnet is aged; the compatibility between the packing and the medium is not good; and the valve stem is stuck.
Countermeasure: Replace the aged gasket; select the appropriate packing material according to the characteristics of the medium; check and clean the valve stem, and check the clearance between the stem and the box.
3. No action of the valve
Reason: There is no power supply; the actuator is damaged; the valve stem is stuck; or the automatic open/close system is not working properly.
Countermeasure: Check and repair the power supply system; replace the actuator; check and clean the valve stem; check and repair the automatic open/close system.
