The China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association (CFPMIA) is a non-profit industry organization established in 1992 by technologists and industry professionals in the food and packaging machinery sector in the People’s Republic of China. The Association strives to promote the development of the food and packaging machinery industry through research and development, technology exchange and commercial cooperation.
At present, the Association has 900 members – mainly large and medium-sized in the food and packaging machinery industry. As the only national professional organization in the food and packaging machinery sector, our members cover the entire life cycle of product research and development, production, marketing and service.
CFPMIA is committed to improving the food and packaging machinery industry, especially in terms of environment protection, automation, labor protection and product quality. Our goals include promoting technological progress, improving the quality of products, and strengthening the development of new products and new technologies in the fields of automation, energy saving and safety. In addition, the Association encourages exchanges between members, research institutes, universities, food and packaging machinery companies, and trade bodies globally in order to foster the development of global trade.
CFPMIA is active in providing services to our members and helping them particularly in the areas of: industry information exchange and technology transfer; industry development advice; government policy announcements and market forecasts; assistance in building industrial capabilities and creating business alliances; and cultivating talent through training and seminars on new technologies and products.
In order to meet the emerging needs of the industry and its members, CFPMIA has established several committees to focus on various research and development activities. These include Automation, Standardization, Quality Improvement and Environmental Protections Committees. The Automation Committee is responsible for developing the latest standards, protocols and technologies related to the automation of food and packaging machinery. The Quality Improvement Committee is dedicated to the research and improvement of product quality, while the Environmental Protection Committee is tasked with assessing and improving the industry’s environmental impact.
For over 25 years, CFPMIA has been at the forefront of promoting and supporting the development of the food and packaging machinery sector in China. We look forward to continuing our work with industry professionals, trade bodies and academic institutions alike in our efforts to contribute to the future success of the industry.
