Chinese Mould Industry Association
The Chinese Mould Industry Association (CMIA) is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting the growth and development of the mould industry in China. Founded in 2005, CMIA has developed into a large-scale global organization with members in over 30 countries and regions around the world.
CMIA is committed to providing comprehensive support and guidance for its members’ mould operations and the research and innovation associated with the mould industry. To this end, the association regularly hosts forums, seminars, and conferences with the aim of finding new approaches to mould design and production and sharing best practices among members. CMIA also plays an important role in facilitating communication between Chinese mould manufacturers and foreign markets.
Each year, CMIA holds the Chinese Mould Industry Association Annual Conference (CMIAC) which attracts a large crowd of experts and professionals from China and abroad. At the event, participants exchange innovative ideas, conduct workshops and discussions, and get the latest industry updates. More importantly, the conference is a great platform for the members to network with the biggest players in the mould industry.
Every two years, the CMIA also organizes a competition called the “Chinese Mould Innovation Award”. The purpose of the competition is to recognize the outstanding achievements by Chinese mould manufacturers in terms of development and innovation in the industry. It provides a great platform for China’s mould companies to showcase their innovation and creativity in front of an elite panel of international mould experts.
The CMIA has also formed numerous working groups with different functions and responsibilities.
