3. Terminology
3.1 The terminology of coils and cut lengths shall also be applied for rolled product widths exceeding 530mm (21in).
4. General Requirements
4.1 Material furnished to this specification shall conforming to the applicable requirements of the current edition of specification in which the order is placed.
4.2 General requirements applicable to this product as a whole, and which supplement those specified in the referenced documents shall be as follows:

4.2.2 Measurement Tolerances for Cut Lengths: Unless otherwise specified, the average minimum distinct public length shall be reasonable tolerance of 5mm (0.2in) and the variation in 1525mm (60in) length shall not exceed 10mm (0.4in).
4.2.3 Straightness: Unless otherwise agreed upon between the manufacturer and the purchaser, the strip and strip from which it is cut shall have no wavering side curl or twist exceeding 0.50mm/2m (0.020 in/4ft) over any whole length of distribution.
4.2.4 Surface: Unless otherwise specified, the material furnished to this specification shall be clean. The ground surface shall be uniform and shall have no raised or unduly depressed surfaces.
4.2.5 Blister and Can Banding: Unless specified otherwise, blister and can banding shall be avoided in the manufacture of the material.
4.3 Additional requirements, in addition to those requirements specified in the referenced documents and in this specification, are permitted when agreed upon between the manufacturer and the purchaser.
