China Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Association
The China Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Association (CBDA, formerly known as the China National Decoration Association, CDA, founded in 1984) is a national-level non-profit organization for trade, industry and related research and service of building decoration and decoration materials. It is also the coordinating center of professional and technical advance of building decoration industry nationwide. Municipal Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Industry Associations and Subsidiary Units, and Enterprises form CBDA’s members.
China Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Association (CBDA) is the organization that represent the most professional industry level of the industry’s interest. Members of CBDA mainly include: Units and enterprises of Municipal Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Industry Associations, Units of Design Association and Engineering Association, Units of Building Materials Comprehensively, University and Research Institutes, Domestic and International Enterprises, etc. CBDA, as the organization that connects domestic and foreign markets, has a strong network domestically. Currently, the CBDA has a membership of around 3000, covering all aspects of the building decoration and decoration material industries.
CBDA provides research, consultancy and project management to ensure that building decoration and decoration materials have adequate supply and application of new materials in the construction industry. They have established long-term collaboration with some well-known universities and research institutes in China and abroad to study and investigate new trends, technologies and materials. As the organization that represent the voice of the industry, the CBDA also plays a key role in setting standards of the industry and promoting common understanding with the government and other related organizations in the industry.
Furthermore, in order to coordinate technology standard advancing and market economy management rationally, CBDA holds various professional activities and academic conferences such as the China Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Expo, Release of Standards and New Technologies, Academic Exchange and Learning Activities, Executive Meeting and Award Ceremony, etc. Such activities not only help to promote the industry, but also benefit the development of the building decoration industry and products.
CBDA will use the advantages of professional technology and application service, the industry’s common development interests and mutual benefit, to continuously increase its members’ brand awareness, make their products better adapted to the market, ensure most advanced technology of building decoration and decoration materials material, improve technical level throughout the industry and optimize industry structure for the development of the building decoration industry.
Therefore, it is highly significant to strengthen the construction of China Building Decoration and Decoration Materials Association. Such effort is extremely meaningful for the healthy and orderly development of the industry, as well as for the industry structure and brand building. The Association will gradually build a sustainable, collaborative, cooperative and efficient platform, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of the industry and interactions between the government, industry and users in the future.
