International P-Card Chip Operation Regulations
Article I: Scope
This Operation Regulations are applicable to international P-Card chip operations.
Article II: Definition of Terms
1. International P-Card: A card payment previously issued by the bank in a foreign country, hereinafter referred to as P-Card, which can make international payment transactions both in domestic and overseas.
2. Cardholder: Person who is legally engaged in P-Card operations and has obtained the authorization and certification of P-Card.
3. Gateway provider: An enterprise providing a payment service platform mainly by developing, providing and operating international P-Card chip-related products and technologies.
Article III: Types of International P-Card Chips
International P-Card chip is divided into chip card, dual-interface card and bank card.
Chip Card
A chip card with an embedded chip where encrypted information is stored and which can be used to make secure transactions.
Dual-Interface Card
A multi-function card in which a chip card and magnetic card are combined. It contains both magnetic stripes and embedded chips. It can complete the payment process through magnetic stripe or chip.
Bank Card
A card mainly used to withdraw cash from bank accounts after the user inputs a PIN code or password.
Article IV: International P-Card Chip Operations
When operating an international P-Card chip, the cardholder should pay attention to the following points:
1. Check the validity of the P-Card. The validity period and issuer details should be clearly understood.
2. The cardholder must complete the successful installation of the relevant software, including but not limited to the gateway providers official software.
3. International P-Card chip operations should be conducted in accordance with the rules, regulations and instructions of the relevant issuer.
4. Before carrying out an international P-Card chip operation, the cardholder should understand the related details of the card, such as the currency, the amount of the transaction, and to ensure that the transaction amount is sufficient.
5. Carefully check the credit limit of the card before each international P-Card chip operation and make sure that it does not exceed the limit.
6. After using the international P-Card chip, do not damage or disassemble the chip in any way.
Article V: Security Measures
1. When operating the international P-Card chip, please pay attention to the security of the environment and the personal information or data of the cardholder.
2. The cardholder shall ensure that the international P-Card chip card is kept safely and shall not lend the card to a third party.
3. The cardholder should keep the personal password and verification code firmly, do not provide it to others, and pay special attention to the security of the transaction password.
4. Do not carry out any suspicious transaction, the cardholder should pay attention to the content of the payment, especially in unfamiliar items. The relevant P-Card issuer shall be contacted in case of any suspicion.
Article VI: Dispute Resolution
1. International P-Card chip disputes shall be primarily resolved through consultation between the cardholder and the relevant P-Card issuer.
2. If the dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, the cardholder may bring a lawsuit against the issuer in court.
3. For transactions that have been executed and resulted in conflict, the parties should take all necessary steps to restore the original state of the transaction.
Article VII: Penalty for Violation
If there is any violation of the terms of use or any fraud or breach of contract in the operation of the international P-Card chip, the parties concerned shall bear the corresponding liabilities and bear corresponding liabilities.
Article VIII: Miscellaneous
1. These operation regulations may be regularly revised and amended to keep up with the industry developments
2. To protect the interests of the parties, any amendment or modification of the terms of these regulations shall be governed by mutual agreement of both parties
3. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between this Regulation and the terms of the agreement between the cardholder and the issuer of the P-Card, the terms of the agreement shall prevail.
