China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation (CPTDC) is a China-based corporation specialized in the development and manufacture of petroleum technology and equipment. Established in 1969, CPTDC is a fully-owned subsidiary of its parent company -- China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) -- and is part of the CNPC group. As CNPCs main research and development platform, CPTDC is mainly engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and sale of petroleum technology and equipment.
CPTDC boasts some of the worlds most advanced technologies as well as a wide variety of products and services in the petroleum industry. The corporation has developed a multitude of core technologies, including hydro-processing technology, deep processing of natural gas, upstream exploration and production technology, petroleum engineering technology, oil refining and chemical engineering, offshore engineering and oil well down hole drilling tools. Among them, Exploration & Production Products and Services include equipment, technology and technical services for oil and gas exploration, acreage development and oil and gas production, Oil Refining and Petrochemical Products and Services include full range of technology and equipment for refining and petrochemical industries, Gas & Gas Engineering Products and Services cover the design and engineering of gas producing, refining, petrochemical and low-temperature engineering, as well as Offshore Engineering Products and Services include drilling and engineering, shipbuilding and processing, offshore engineering equipment and materials.
With over 40 years of experience in the field, CPTDC has achieved remarkable success in both the domestic and the international market. In the Chinese market, CPTDC has established long-term cooperation with nearly 30 large-scale clients from all around the country. In terms of international engineering projects, CPTDC has completed over 150 projects in countries such as India, Iran, Venezuela, Peru and Algeria.
