LF furnace denitrification and desulfurization principle
LF furnace denitrification and desulfurization is an important technology for controlling atmospheric pollution. The principle is to use an oxygen-containing gas containing flue gas to pass through an electric arc furnace to oxidize carbon monoxide and other combustible gases, thereby reducing nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide in flue gas.
LF furnace denitrification and desulfurization device is mainly composed of arc furnace, exhaust gas treatment system, control system and air supply system. The arc furnace is the core component of the denitrification and desulfurization equipment. The reactor mainly consists of arc furnace shell, water-cooled/air-cooled cable, transformer, insulation gate, cooling fan, electric heating element, power supply system and so on. The flue gas enters the upper part of the reaction chamber, and is preheated by an electric heating element. The preheated flue gas passes through the electric arc radiation zone in the reaction chamber, converting carbon monoxide and other combustible gases into carbon dioxide and other mild combustion products, which reduce the concentration of NOx and SOx in the flue gas.
The reduction efficiency of the air supply will affect the denitrification and desulfurization effect of LF furnace. Generally, the air pressure should be no less than 200pa, and the distribution of air should be even. The air density should not be too small, less than 4000-6000Nm3/h·m2. The wind speed of the arc furnace should not exceed 3.2M/S, and the length of the cooling is generally not less than 5M.
When the LF furnace denitrification and desulfurization device is put into operation, the first step is to clean the equipment. First, the dust deposited in the reaction chamber of the arc furnace is wiped clean. Then, the air supply ducts, water-cooled/air-cooled cables, electric heating elements and power distribution racks are all checked. If the electric heating element is damaged or the power distribution rack is loose, it should be replaced in time.
Then adjust the temperature of the arc furnace, generally between 900 ℃ to 1300 ℃, the higher the electric current, the higher the temperature in the flue gas, the better the reduction effect.
Finally, the exhaust gas treatment system is adjusted. The pressure of the induced draft fan should not be too high, generally not more than 7000Pa. The air gap of the bag filter should not be too small, generally not less than 50mm. The resistance of the bag filter should not be too large, generally not more than 1200pa.
LF furnace denitrification and desulfurization is a technology used to improve the quality of flue gas. Through the above introduction, everyone should have a certain understanding of its principle. In actual operation, it is necessary to strictly implement the operation regulations, do a good job of equipment cleaning and maintenance, and ensure the normal operation of denitrification and desulfurization equipment.
