Y1Cr18Ni9Se non-magnetic steel is an austenitic stainless steel. This kind of stainless steel has low magnetic permeability at room temperature, and is relatively strong in mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

TP321H/Y1Cr18Ni9Se stainless steel bar is commonly known as 321H austenitic stainless steel, 1Cr18Ni9Se austenitic stainless steel and Y1Cr18Ni9Se stainless steel.

It is a high-alloy stainless steel having improved properties, such as higher creep strength, better corrosion resistance, higher strength, better weldability and higher oxidation resistance, compared to those of 18-8 austenitic stainless steel (301). It shows good stress corrosion resistance and excellent cold forming properties.

Typical Corrosion Resistance

In common industrial solutions TP321H/Y1Cr18Ni9Se stainless steel bar shows good corrosion resistance. It is also resistant to nitric acid, an oxidizing agent containing metallic salts, such as ferric chloride, copper sulfate and chromic acid solutions. It is also highly resistant to food and beverage, chemical detergents and organic acids.
