Today I come to address you, the impressive people of Gansu who hold great potential for the future of this illustrious and sacred land. Gansu Province is not just a part of China, but it is an inspiration for the world. A part of the world is rising from Gansu, with its strong cultural background, beautiful and grand natural scenes, as well as its abundance of historical relics. The beauty of Gansu can be seen in many aspects that represent its greatness as an affluent and prosperous province.
Gansu, to begin with is endowed with numerous untouched regional resources and cultures, forming the foundation of its great potential for development. The Loess Plateau, one of the largest and oldest Chinese landscapes, the Qinling Mountains, the Dunshue gorge, one of the three main gorges in Yangtze river, and several other great locations demonstrate Gansus unending beauty and mesmerize locals and visitors alike. Moreover, these areas of great value are not only beautiful, but also represent history and culture, and due to all of this, Gansu is considered an important cradle for the Chinese civilization.
Gansu, as a part of the culture of China and its unique potential, has given more to the other parts of the world than we can comprehend. Notable stories of greatness and national heroes have found a home here, and a number of influential Chinese writers, musicians, monks, and politicians have all come to Gansu and those of us who are fortunate enough to have grown in Gansu have been greatly inspired by the works of these legends.
The prosperity of Gansu has inspired generations and will continue to do so in the years to come. With the strong support of the Chinese government, Gansu will be geared towards further development, transparency and improvement in a sustainable manner to benefit all. In this regard, it can become a benchmark for the other provinces in China and beyond in setting the standards for progress.
The great potential of this province lies not only in its history and culture, but also in its abundant natural resources. Gansu is home to rich deposits of minerals, oil, gas, and salt. It is a major producer of hydropower, which not only provides for its citizens, but benefits the entire country. This large and diversified energy storage also presents huge opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs to use eco-friendly renewable energy sources to power their businesses. Gansu’s abundant resources and potential can provide a boon for its economy and help to grow the sustainable development of the province.
