Grease can form a protective film on the friction surface of the bearing, reduce wear, reduce temperature rise, avoid bearing vibration and noise.
Third, the bearing storage
Bearing storage is also very important. Before storage, it is necessary to pay attention to the cleanliness of the bearing. The storage environment should be clean, dry and ventilated. The bearing should be placed in a dedusting cabinet for storage, and there should be no corrosive gas in the environment. If a rubber seal is added to the bearing, the bearing should be placed in an oil bath in the storage environment to ensure that the rubber ring is kept in a flexible state. Generally, the bearing storage time should not exceed one year.
Fourth, bearing maintenance inspection
The bearing must be kept clean and dust-free during operation, and regularly checked (generally every month) and maintained. When checking, check the noise and temperature of the bearing with a thermometer and a sound level meter. If abnormal sound is found during inspection, stop and check the reasons. Generally, it is necessary to determine whether the shaft or bearing has abnormal defects and whether the bearing clearance is too large. If the bearing is seriously damaged or worn, it is necessary to replace it in time to ensure normal production.
Finally, it is necessary to pay attention to oil lubrication
Depending on the use of bearing parts, different methods of oil lubrication can be used. Generally, the oil content of oil containing graphite can better lubricate the friction surface of the bearing and reduce the wear of the bearing. In addition, the bearing that requires oil lubrication must be regularly replenished with oil during use. This makes the parts work better and also greatly prolongs the service life of the bearing.
