From the very first television inventions in the late 19th century, the technology has improved greatly and allowed for the broadcasting of information and entertainment to millions of people all over the world.
It all began in the late 1800s when two inventors, Scottish scientist John Logie Baird and American Philo Farnsworth, developed their own prototype televisions. The first working model was built by Logie Baird in 1925, and a year later, it was demonstrated to the general public. The world was mesmerized by the new invention, as it was able to broadcast pictures as well as sound. It wasnt until 1939, however, when the first commercial television station was established.
Though the technology has changed dramatically since its invention, the basic idea of televisions has stayed the same. The technology has advanced to the point where we are now able to watch our favorite shows in High-Definition, with the option of watching multiple channels at once.
