Austrian standard stainless steel grades are represented by one capital letter and five numbers, such as X3CrNiMo13-4. The first letter indicates the kind of steel, the middle part represents the chemical elements and the last part represents the mechanical properties.
(6) International quality standards:
International quality standards are represented by three numbers and two capital letters, such as A554. This kind of steel grade is used for manufactured products with same characteristics.
